With an 86 mm waist, a full wood core, and fiberglass reinforcement, it delivers an excellent balance of maneuverability, stability, and performance across the mountain.
Auxetic Technology allows the ski to respond to the pressure you apply: it stays lively and approachable while cruising, then provides additional support and edge grip as you push harder. A Graphene layer enhances torsional response without adding unnecessary weight.
Its Rocker / Camber / Rocker profile combines an early-rise tip for easy turn initiation with camber underfoot for dependable edge hold. The more predictable tail provides stability and confidence when finishing turns.

THINGS TO CONSIDER
The absence of a Titanal laminate helps give the Discovery 86 Pro its lighter, livelier feel, but it will not provide the same damp stability at very high speeds or through heavily chopped-up snow as a metal-reinforced ski. Its 15.2 m radius favors medium-radius turns rather than very tight, quick turns. At 86 mm underfoot, it handles softer snow well but is not intended to provide the flotation of a dedicated powder ski.
